Prior to State Farm I worked at Baskin Robbins for 5 years. It was here that I learned the real meaning of customer service. Shortly after high school graduation my MOM told me I had to have a real job. (I am thinking MOM did not think Baskin Robbins would support me my entire life.) So the adventure began. There was this very large red brick building down the street so I went in and applied for a position. Thus, two months after graduation I started at State Farm. (I will tell you every time I walked down the halls in the Operation Center, people would point and say that is the "Baskin Robbins girl".
I spent 20 years in operations, learning and growing in a number of disciplines. As well, I graduated from Regis University, completed the the course work required for my Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU and my Associate in Claims (AIC) certificates. In the positions I held, I always had a passion to help folks understand insurance rather than just do insurance.
In 1996, I moved to Wyoming and became a State Farm Agent. Why? I had an excellent understanding of insurance products, all the disciplines from above, and I loved teaching. My passion has always been to teach and build lifelong relationships. I love being an agent because of customers. It is customers that have taught me the true value of caring, listening, and being a GOOD NEIGHBOR. In addition to loving people I have also completed course work and served Wyoming in a number of areas.
